My work comes from the need to translate reflections on matter and anthropology into physical objects. I think about people’s reactions to their surroundings and about interpersonal relationships along the timeline: an individual meditation on the ancestral, aimed at provoking future collective reflection.
I give form to reflections on time, matter and humankind.
Working with earth, stone and ceramics in the digital age eases a personal need for contact with reality and with the material. Combining it with contemporary elements and processes helps me to reinforce the intended anachronism of my works. By undermining chronology and alternating materials, I can create an archaeology of the present and the future.
